FAQ: society events calendar
Who can publish events? Society admins from Admin → Events.
Who can see events? Active society members on the Events page (/events).
What RSVP options exist? Going, Maybe, and Can't go — one response per resident per event.
Can I change my RSVP? Yes — tap a different option anytime; your latest choice is saved.
What happens when capacity is full? New Going attempts move to waitlist. You can still pick Maybe or Can't go. If you were already Going, you keep your seat.
Is capacity required? No — leave it blank for open gatherings.
Can admins see RSVP counts? Yes — going, maybe, can't go, occupied seats, and waitlist counts appear on each event card.
Can admins export attendance? Yes — Admin Events includes Export RSVP CSV per event.
Can residents add events to their personal calendar? Yes — each event card supports Google Calendar and ICS export.
How is this different from Meetings? Meetings are for formal society business (AGM, committee). Events are for community gatherings.
What tier is events on? Community — see pricing.
Can I cancel an event? Admins can cancel from Admin → Events with a required reason; residents see Cancelled plus the reason.
