Amenity booking troubleshooting

I don't see any amenities — Only active amenities appear for residents. Ask your admin to add facilities from Admin → Amenities. Confirm you have an active society membership and a claimed flat.

"That slot is already booked" — Another pending or confirmed booking overlaps your chosen window. The database blocks double-booking by design. Pick a different time or ask admin to review the schedule.

"This slot is too soon/too far in advance/too long" — Your amenity has booking guardrails. Use a start time that fits notice + advance limits and keep duration within max hours.

Booking stuck on pending — The amenity has requires approval on. An admin must approve from Admin → Amenities. If approval fails with "slot already booked," another booking was confirmed for that window while yours was pending.

Booking rejected — Admin rejected with reason (visible on the booking). Adjust slot timing, guest count, or use another amenity and rebook.

Can't approve a booking — Admin role required. Only pending bookings can be approved.

Can't cancel a booking — Residents can cancel bookings they created. Admins can cancel any booking. Resident cancellation is blocked after the amenity cutoff window. Already cancelled bookings cannot be reopened — create a new booking.

Can't add or edit amenities — Admin role required. Open Admin → Amenities, not the resident Amenities page.

Invalid time range — End time must be after start time. Check AM/PM when entering slots.

Amenity disappeared — Admin may have set it inactive. Past bookings remain; new bookings are blocked until reactivated.
