Resident: book an amenity slot
- Open Amenities from the menu (
/amenities). - Browse active facilities — clubhouse, gym, party hall, and others your committee has set up.
- Select an amenity and pick start and end time for your slot.
- Optionally enter guest count and link the booking to your flat.
- Submit the booking. If it is too soon, too far ahead, too long, or exceeds guest limits, Plinth blocks the request and explains the rule.
After you book
| Amenity setting | Your booking status | What it means |

| Approval not required | Confirmed | Your slot is set — arrive on time. |
| Approval required | Pending | Wait for admin approval; you will see Confirmed when approved. |
Rejected bookings show the admin's reason so you can pick a compliant slot.
Cancel your booking
- Open Amenities and find your booking under My bookings (or the bookings list).
- Tap Cancel — only works for bookings you created and only before the amenity's cancellation cutoff. Admins can still cancel from the admin panel.
Slot already taken?
If you see "That slot is already booked," someone else holds an overlapping pending or confirmed booking. Pick a different time or ask the committee to check the schedule.
