Resident: read & acknowledge notices
Your committee's official announcements appear in Notices. You only see notices addressed to your role and flat. Some notices use a flash popup that appears when you open the app until you read or acknowledge them.
Steps
- Open Notices from the bottom navigation (or
/notices). - Pinned and urgent notices appear at the top; unread ones show a dot.
- Tap a notice to read it — tap Mark as read if you opened it without scrolling through.
- If it says Acknowledgement required, tap I acknowledge this notice.
- Open attachments (PDF/images) or follow the link to a society document when provided.
Flash notices
When a notice is marked flash, a popup appears on login. You must read it (or acknowledge it, if required) before continuing — you cannot dismiss it by tapping outside.
Good to know
- Targeted notices (e.g. one tower only) won't appear if you're outside that audience.
- Acknowledgement is only required when the committee explicitly turns it on.
- In-app and push reminders may nudge you if acknowledgement is still pending (no email/SMS from Plinth).
